About Dune 3D
Dune 3D is a parametric 3D CAD application aimed at mechanical design workflows such as parts, enclosures, and 3D-printable models. It supports sketching and constraining in both 2D and 3D, solid modeling operations such as extrude, lathe, revolve, loft, pipe, chamfer, and fillet, and measurement-driven modeling.
The application is desktop software for Linux and Windows, with source code and releases hosted on GitHub. Dune 3D can import STEP models for reference or integration, import DXF files and bitmap pictures, and export STL, STEP, DXF paths, SVG paths, and projections depending on the workflow. It is free and open source under GPL-3.0+.
