About SolveSpace
SolveSpace is a free GPLv3 parametric 2D/3D CAD tool focused on compact mechanical design workflows. It supports sketch constraints and dimensions, 3D part modeling with extrudes, revolves, helixes, Boolean operations, associative assemblies, and analysis tools such as measurements, degrees-of-freedom checks, interference checks, and mechanism paths.
The software is developed primarily as desktop CAD for Windows, macOS, and Linux, with an experimental browser build also available. SolveSpace can export 2D drawings and CAM-oriented vector data as formats including DXF, PDF, SVG, EPS, HPGL, STEP, and G-code, and can export 3D geometry as STL, OBJ, DXF, STEP, and NURBS surfaces.
